Do Not Give Up

April 11, 2021

2 Corinthians 4:1-18 — We will not give up. We are jars of clay but by God’s grace we are vessels of honor. We carry in us the light of the gospel. We carry in us the glory of Christ, the image of God. We carry in us the resurrection life. We believe in the power of the resurrection. We focus on the unseen, God’s kingdom. Therefore, no matter what happens, no matter the circumstances, we will not give up.

This sermon is the last in our sermon series for the Lent season, 2021, The Way of the Cross.

Resurrection Sunday, Seventh Sunday of Lent—Peter and Jesus—The living Lord Jesus loves you. He forgives you. He heals you. He restores you. He gives us new life. We look at their roles and viewpoints as they were involved in the events before, during, and after the cross. Where are you at the Cross? What does the cross mean for you? Who is Jesus to you? Do you know him? Do you love him? Do you obey him? Do you serve him?
