All I Want Is a New Beginning

Isaiah 61:1-11 — All I want is a new beginning. Jesus Christ, the Lord, is the new beginning. He has begun a new beginning. At this moment he is busy completing the new beginning through his Holy Spirit and his followers in this world. He will complete the new beginning when he comes again and makes everything new.

All I Want Is Some Good News

Isaiah 40:1-11 — All I want is some good news. There is good news. The best good news ever. The Lord has come. The Lord is coming. God’s Kingdom has come. This is the good news about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God. We as God’s people are called to share this good news, to tell the world, “The Lord is coming back because he has come!”

All I Want Is for God to Show Up

Isaiah 63:15-64:12 — Where is God? God’s people are no longer experiencing God’s presence. God seems to be missing in today’s world. All I want is for God to show up. We must repent and God will show up. God shows up all the time.
